ACCESSIBILITY: The hotel restaurant and ground floor rooms are wheelchair accessible. The restaurant has a disabled toilet. Our disabled parking is marked on the map.
 
ADAPTER: 220V/50Hz alternating voltage (AC) is available throughout the building. An adapter for other voltages is available free of charge at our reception. International adapter converter and charging cable available at reception.
 
AIR CONDITIONER: The temperature of the air conditioner in the room can be changed as needed. Contact our reception for assistance. The air conditioning only works when the doors and windows are closed. The room air conditioner can only be used if the window is closed and the room card is inserted in the wall room card holder. The air conditioner operates in either winter (heating HEAT) or summer (cooling COOL) mode depending on the autumn-winter / spring-summer period, this can be set using the FUNCTION button. It cannot be used for heating in spring and summer, and it cannot be operated in cooling mode in autumn and winter. After the air conditioner is switched on, it displays the current temperature value in the middle of the display, until it is switched on, the value measured during previous operation is visible.
  1. The air conditioner is switched on with the button in the lower right corner (ON/OFF under the display). When switched on, the surface of the indicator lights up more brightly and the icons appear on the display, if you see the previously used temperature on the display in pale grey, then the air conditioner is not switched on properly, so you have to press the on button again.
  2. “The cooling (COOL) or heating (HEAT) function can be set by pressing the MODE button several times. The AUTO and DRY modes should be avoided, as the air conditioner does not operate in that mode. To continue the air conditioner operation, it is necessary to reset the (COOL) or (HEAT) functions.
  3. The desired temperature can be set with the down or up arrow keys. When the buttons are pressed, the set temperature value is shown in the center of the display. The air conditioner starts when the set, desired temperature value and the currently measured temperature value differ by at least 3-4 degrees.
  4. By repeatedly pressing the FAN button, the fan speed can be adjusted. Low, medium and high levels can be selected. “
  5. “The SWING/ENTER button can be used to set the air conditioner’s blowing direction, or it can be fixed so that it blows out the air in a specific direction. You can change this with short presses of the button. You can use the ENTER function by pressing it for a long time, this will perform all the functions you want.
  6. Using the TIMER button, you can schedule the air conditioner to start and turn off at different times of the day.
PLEASE FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR AIR CONDITIONING WHEN USING IT!
 
ANTI-SLIP: You can find the anti-slip mat in the bathroom, in the closet.
 
BABY CARE SERVICES: Depending on our available capacity, we can provide the following items: high chair in the restaurant, baby bed, baby bath, toilet seat, toilet step, night light, diaper pail, changing table, baby monitor. Please contact the reception with your request.
 
BANK, ATM: There are several ATMs in our town, the nearest one is at the OTP Bank (Kossuth Lajos u. 1-3.), 3 minutes walk from the hotel. For directions, please contact the reception.
 
BATHROBE AND SLIPPERS: We provide our guests with bathrobes, which can be requested at the reception for a deposit.
 
BED, MATTRESS: All our rooms have a double bed 160×200 cm with a 23 cm thick mattress with a bag spring. Our sofa beds vary in size: in some rooms they are 106×210 cm, in others 163×210 cm.
 
BIBLE: You find the Bible in your room, in the bedside table drawer.
 
BICYCLE: Bük and its surroundings abound in excellent cycling routes. Our hotel offers bicycle rental for a fee, from spring to autumn. Please indicate your request at the reception!
 
BIKE SERVICE POINT: In front of our hotel, next to the bicycle storage room, there is a service point that can be used free of charge.
 
BREAKFAST:Start your day well with our rich breakfast selection! As part of the service, breakfast can be eaten daily between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Breakfast is served from 7:00 a.m. In case of an earlier time, we can provide you with a breakfast package upon prior request.
 
CAMERA SYSTEM: For the safety of our guests, a camera surveillance system operates in the public areas of our building (restaurant, hotel entrance, hotel corridors, terrace), as well as in the parking areas.
 
CAR RENTAL: If you wish to rent a car, please contact our reception!
 
CARD, FRIDGE MAGNET: You can buy the products at the reception of our hotel.
 
CHECK-IN: rooms can be booked from 2:00 p.m. Depending on the hotel’s availability, you may check in earlier or leave your luggage in the luggage storage. In accordance with the Government Decree published on 14.10.2021 (Hungarian Official Gazette 584/2021.(X. 14.) ), a valid photo ID and address card are required upon check-in. The digitally scanned ID cards at the reception will be stored in the Guest Information Closed Database (VIZA) for a maximum period of two years. In the absence of such documentation, the hotel is obliged to refuse accommodation.
 
CHECK-OUT: The hotel room is available until 10:00 a.m. on the day of travel. If you wish to check out later, please contact the reception.
 
CLAIM: If you are not satisfied with one of our services, please immediately contact the employees of the relevant department or report the problem at the reception. We are unable to accept subsequent complaints upon check-out or after departure. Thank you for your understanding!
 
CLEANING: The rooms are cleaned daily. Our maids do the cleaning between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Please indicate your cleaning request to the housekeeper with the sign hung on the door handle. If they want to rest, the sign “Please do not disturb!” indicate with the labeled side. You will find the doorknob card in the room, hanging on the hanger. We charge an extra cleaning fee if the room’s furniture, carpet, textiles, and curtains are dirty and cannot be cleaned with normal cleaning. If required, it is also possible to change the bed linen daily, ask about the cost of this at the reception desk!
 
COFFEE MAKER, WATER HEATER: Our rooms are equipped with a coffee maker and a water heater as standard, and we give them free coffee capsules and a tea filter upon arrival.
 
COMPLAINTS, COMMENTS: If you have any complaints or comments during your stay, please let us know at the reception!
 
COMPUTER TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE: Our reception staff are happy to help you with your laptop or hotel internet usage. For a fee, our hotel’s system administrator is also available to our guests during the day upon prior consultation.
 
CURRENCY EXCHANGE: Payment with euro banknotes and cash is possible at the reception desk, but currency exchange is not possible at our hotel. Please note that in case of payment in foreign currency, MKB Bank’s current exchange rate is valid, and the refund will be returned in HUF. Our hotel only accepts paper banknotes in the case of foreign currencies. Our reception colleagues are ready to provide information about the banks and money changers in the city, as well as their opening hours. The local branch of OTP Bank is located 500 meters from the entrance to the Park Hotel and Hordó Restaurant.
 
DAMAGES: During your stay, you will be responsible for any damage caused to the room or the hotel grounds. The hotel is entitled to pass on the repair and replacement costs to you.
 
DOCTOR, PHARMACIST: In case of health problems, contact our reception colleagues, who will be happy to provide information on the health options available in the settlement. A thermometer and band-aids can also be requested at the reception. The nearest doctor’s office is a 2-minute walk from our hotel (Eötvös u. 8), while the nearest pharmacy is next to the doctor’s office at Eötvös u. Available at number 6.
 
DOGS AND OTHER PETS: Animals are not allowed in our hotel, thank you for your understanding!
 
DOOR LOCK OPERATION: The doors of our hotel rooms are equipped with a proximity card operated lock. The door can only be opened with the card: when the card is brought close to the switch and touched, a green light flashes on the switch for a few seconds, and the door can be opened. From the inside, the door can be opened at any time by means of a handle. If you are in the room, place the card in the card holder on the wall next to the door, this will ensure that the room is electrically powered. If you turn the knob under the door handle to the horizontal position, the external switch next to the door in the corridor will light up red when you try to open it, indicating that the room is occupied. To close the door when leaving, please do not push the handle down, but pull it in with a stronger movement. When you leave the room, please always take your card with you and check that the room door is properly closed.
 
Dotto-train: The urban light rail has a stop in front of our hotel. The railway line also touches the spa, and you can inquire about the current schedule and rates at our reception.
 
DRESS CODE, DRESSING PROTOCOL: When using our services, please choose appropriate clothing for the occasion. Appropriate clothing contributes greatly to the beautiful, demanding environment that we want to provide for our guests.
 
DRINKING WATER: The hotel has a central water softening system. The tap water is suitable for human consumption!
 
E-CHARGER: You will find an electric car charger behind our hotel. Our reception can provide information on the conditions of use of this.
 
Entrance: The entrance to our upstairs rooms is on the side of the building, while the ground floor rooms are accessed from the rear car park.
 
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: Let’s protect our environment together! Please use only as much energy and water as is necessary for your comfort.
 
EVENTS: The Park Hotel is the perfect venue for smaller events, business meetings, further training, lunches, press conferences, negotiations, receptions, weddings and other gatherings. EXPRESS IRONING: In case of urgent need, an ironing service can be requested with completion within an hour. Please call the reception. The price of the service: HUF 1,500 / piece of clothing.
 
EXTRA BLANKET, PILLOW: All the pillows and blankets in your room are anti-allergenic, and we also offer two special sheets with different fillings for your comfort. Please contact our hotel reception, our colleagues will be happy to assist you in choosing the right pillow and blanket.
 
EXTRA CARD: You can request an additional card for your room at the reception free of charge.
 
FLOWER: Flowers and bouquets can be ordered through the reception.
 
FUELLING: The nearest gas station (AVIA) is located 2.3 km from our hotel on the road to Bükfürdő-Bő, and our reception can give you directions.
 
GIFT VOUCHERS: Hotel and restaurant gift vouchers are available on request. Please contact our receptionist for more information!
 
GUEST COMMENTS: In our hotel, we handle our guests’ comments and complaints in an organized manner. Please let us know your comments, as this helps our work. You can express your views in person at the reception, on paper in the opinion collection boxes, on our website, by e-mail after departure, or on our social network and the platforms of our electronic partners (booking.com, szállás.hu) We appreciate all comments!
 
HAIR DRYER: Our bath standards come standard with a built-in hair dryer, which you can operate by pressing the button continuously.
 
HEATING: For the hotel’s management, environmental protection is of utmost importance, so the air conditioning equipment operated with the help of renewable energy sources helps to achieve the optimal room temperature. The system is operated centrally, but if needed, you can also set the temperature that suits you personally.
 
HYGIENE: At the reception of our hotel, it is possible to use the following products for a fee: toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, shower cap, nail file, ear cleaner, cotton pad, body lotion. Our basic bathroom amenities include shower gel, shampoo and hand cleanser, which you will find in the wall dispensers.
 
ICE: Please call the reception if you would like to order ice for your room.
 
INFORMATION MATERIALS: Our reception provides more information about our city and its surroundings, as well as various program options. A wide range of information materials is also available free of charge in the lounge and hotel area.
 
INTERNET, WIFI: In our rooms, in our restaurant and in the common areas, if you use a device suitable for your own browsing, the use of broadband wireless internet is free. To connect, you must select the ParkHotel network and you can connect using the following password: ParkHotel2022.
 
INVOICING: In order to reduce the time required for check-out, we ask that you indicate your need for invoicing when you log in (what name you want it to be issued to, how you want to settle the invoice, other necessary data). You can settle your account at any time during your stay. Our reception colleagues will be happy to provide you with information on the exact amounts charged to your room bill, and it is also possible to print a proforma invoice and a detailed list of food and beverage consumption.
 
KITCHEN: The basic equipment of our rooms is an induction hob, a microwave oven and some basic utensils, with which our guests can prepare or heat simpler meals.
 
LIBRARY: We have created a small library in the conservatory of our restaurant for guests who want to read. It is free to use, please protect the condition of the books! Thank you for the help of the city library!
 
LINEN CHANGE: We change our guests’ bed linen twice a week. Daily change is also possible on request and for a fee. Please contact our reception staff.
 
LOST AND FOUND: Found items left in the hotel room or in the building in general will be kept for 6 months. We can mail them within this time upon request, after prepayment of postage. If you entered your phone number on the notification form, we can also notify you by phone about an item left in the room.
 
MAINTENANCE: If you come across a device or equipment in the hotel that needs repair, is damaged, inoperable, or not working properly, please report it to the reception.
 
MAP: You will find a map of our hotel and its courtyard attached.
 
MEAL: Our hotel welcomes its guests every day of the week. Buffet breakfast: from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. (In case of individual group request, it is possible to have an earlier meal.) Dinner: from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. (In case of individual group request, a later meal is possible.)
 
MINI-BAR: The products of the minibar in the room are provided for a fee, please let us know in advance. Our housekeeping colleagues check the current state of the minibar every day and ensure that it is refilled. Our price list can be found in the room.
 
MOBILE PHONE: Mobile phones can be used in the entire area of our hotel. However, we ask our dear guests to refrain from using their mobile phones loudly in the restaurant of our hotel. For the comfort of our guests, excessively loud ringing should also be avoided. If you did not bring a charger for your device, contact our reception desk, where you can request a charger for several models for free use.

NIGHT REST: Please refrain from noisy activities after 10:00 p.m. in order to preserve the peace of the guests!

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS, TICKETS: Our receptionist will help you organize optional excursions and purchase tickets.
 
PACKAGE DELIVERY: Upon request, our reception will take care of the delivery of your packages within our hotel free of charge
 
PACKAGE STORAGE: Upon early arrival/late check-out, our guests’ luggage will be stored in our luggage room free of charge until the room is occupied/departure.
 
PARKING: There is a 24-hour camera-monitored parking lot at the back entrance of our hotel, and public parking lots can be used from Széchenyi Street. Our hotel does not take responsibility for the events that happened in the parking lot, the rules of the KRESZ apply there.
 
PAYMENT METHODS: In our hotel, you can pay with cash (HUF, EUR), bank and credit card (VISA, Maestro, Eurocard/Mastercard), Széchenyi Pihenő card and gift voucher issued by the hotel. Subsequent payment by bank transfer is only available to our contracted partners. Contact our sales manager regarding corporate contracts.
 
PHONE CHARGER: We can provide our guests with several types of phone chargers and power banks at the reception.
 
PHOTO POINT: In front of our hotel, from Széchenyi utca, you will find a photo spot, we will be happy if you capture your stay here.
 
PHOTOCOPY POSSIBILITY: Photocopying is available for a fee. The service is available at the reception desk.
 
PLAY ROOM: The play corner in our restaurant can be used at your own risk and under parental supervision. Children under the age of 14 can only use our outdoor sports equipment with parental supervision!
 
PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB! CARD: If you do not want your rest to be disturbed, please hang the red “Please do not disturb” handle card on the door of your room.
 
POSTAL: The nearest post office can be found a minute’s walk from the hotel’s main entrance (Eötvös u. 4), but you can also hand over your postcards and letters to our reception staff. You can also pick up your parcels here.
 
POTTING: between the back car park and the sports field you will find a cooking area, for which you can borrow equipment from our reception.
 
PRINTING: In our hotel, you have the option of personal and secure printing. You can inquire about the current fee schedule and the possibility of printing from our reception colleagues.
 
PUBLIC TELEPHONE: Phone calls can also be initiated at our reception desk, and our reception staff will be happy to provide more information regarding the call charges.
 
RADIO: The television in the room is suitable for receiving radio broadcasts. You can find the list of available taxes in the appendix of the information sheet.
 
READING LAMP: A reading lamp can be borrowed at reception for a deposit.

RESTAURANT: The restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel is open every day for breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., from Sunday to Thursday from 11.30 a.m. to 9.00 p.m., and on Friday and Saturday from 11.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m. Guests with food intolerances are asked to coordinate their requests with the catering staff in advance!

ROOM LOAN: It is not necessary for our guests to immediately pay for the paid services used in the hotel area. It is enough for them to prove the room number by showing their room key, and then to consider the invoice as accepted with their signature. The total charges are paid in one sum at the reception upon departure.
 
ROOM SERVICE: Room service is provided during the opening hours of the Hordó Restaurant. You can find the menu for room service in the appendix of the room information. We charge a 10% service fee for the service. For more information, please contact our restaurant staff. You will find the room service menu attached.
 
SAFE, DISCLAIMER: Please place your valuables in the room safe or in the free safe at our reception! The hotel is not responsible for valuables that are not kept in them.
 
SCALE: You can request a bathroom scale at the reception.
 
SEWING KIT: We prepared your sewing kit in the dressing room in your room. If you need it again, let our cleaning colleagues know.
 
SEWING SERVICE: If you need sewing services, please let us know at the reception. Our hotel has a partnership agreement with a local sewing shop, where your textile will be made.
 
SHOE CARE TOWEL: A shoe care towel is available in the cupboard in the bathroom. The shoe spoon is placed on the shelf of the wardrobe in the room.
 
SHOE CLEANING MACHINE: You will find the shoe cleaning machine in the upstairs corridor.
 
SHOE SPOON: You can find shoe spoons in the closet of your room
 
SHUTTER: There are electric shutters in the rooms: The shutter cannot be operated manually! It is only activated with the wall bracket designated for it (next to the terrace door).
 
  1. You can move the shutter in the desired direction by directing the wall bracket next to the terrace door up and down, you can stop it by pressing the button in the middle.
  2. Please do not try to stop or raise the electric shutter by hand. The blind is only used from the room, when the door is closed.
  3. If you notice any errors, please notify the hotel reception immediately so that the error can be eliminated as soon as possible.
 
SLIPPERS: It can be requested at the reception for a fee.
 
SPORTS: Ask our reception colleagues about the possibility of using the sports fields and sports tables in the hotel area. You can rent equipment for teqball, tennis, table tennis, handball and basketball.
 
SZÉCHENYI RECREATION CARD: Our hotel accepts the Széchenyi Recreation Card. With the exception of the tourist tax, you can pay for all our services with your OTP, MKB and K&H card. Before paying, please find out which pocket of your card (doesn’t make sense) and what usable amount you have.
 
TAXI: Our colleagues can call an available taxi for you at any time.
 
TELEVISION: The rooms of the Park Hotel Bük are equipped with Samsung Smart televisions, which have the most modern SMART functions in order to maximize the guest experience.
Please DO NOT insert foreign data storage devices into the TVs! All TVs are fixed to the wall, please do not try to remove or move them, this may cause the TV to malfunction.
 
  1. ON/OFF switch: Red Power button (in the upper left corner of the remote control)
  2. The volume can be adjusted with the left (VOL) + and – buttons. A television set that is too loud can cause hearing damage! Please be considerate of the neighboring guests when the window is open. To mute, use the MUTE button in the middle of the switch.
  3. You can switch between channels with the up and down arrows on the right (CH). The current channel list can be viewed on the television with the CH LIST button located in the middle of the switch.
  4. You can open the Internet (SMART HUB) on the television with the HOME icon under the CH LIST button. You can browse and manage the pop-up keyboard with the UP/DOWN/RIGHT/LEFT arrows, and use the “”OK”” button between the arrows to confirm. To return to a previous page, press RETURN. To exit the SMART HUB, use the EXIT button.
  5. If you have a subscription to one of the following service providers (Netlfix, Prime Video, Rakuten Tv), you can open the Online Tvk interfaces with the press of a button. Use the EXIT button to exit.

All televisions are optimized to achieve the highest level of guest experience, please do not change the settings on the devices under any circumstances.

TIME ZONE: Hungary belongs to the Central European time zone, which is 1 hour ahead of the conventional coordinated world time. You can ask our reception for the exact time.
 
TIP: In Hungary, there is no uniform provision for hotel or restaurant prices to include service charges. If you are satisfied with the quality of the service, a tip will of course be gratefully accepted everywhere. The generally accepted level of tipping is 10% of the total bill.
 
TOWEL CHANGE: We change our guests’ towels daily upon request. Please inquire at our reception. Please place the fabric you want to change on the shower tray.
 
TRANSFER: For the guests of our hotel, we provide a transfer between the airports and the Park Hotel if arranged in advance. Ask the reception about the fee schedule. If you want to travel in the city, we can order a taxi to the hotel entrance at the reception.
 
TRANSPORT: Please inquire at the reception regarding transport information and ticket purchases!
 
UMBRELLA: If you need an umbrella, you can request it free of charge from our reception colleague. We charge a HUF 1,000 deposit for the umbrella.
 
VISITORS: We ask our dear guests to welcome their visitors in the hotel’s public spaces. Guests may enter the hotel room only after checking in at the reception desk and may not stay in the room after 8:00 p.m. In case of violation of this, the reception will charge the accommodation fee according to the price list valid at all times
WAKE UP: A 24-hour wake-up service can be requested at our reception.
 
WASHING: We provide laundry and ironing services for our guests. If the textile to be cleaned is dropped off before 9:00 a.m., you can pick it up from our receptionist on the same day (except on weekends). You will find the hygienic bag for washing at the bottom of the dressing room.
 
WEEKLY AND DAILY NEWSPAPERS: You can borrow weekly and daily newspapers at the reception.
 
WELLNESS: Our outdoor sauna and jacuzzi can be used for a fee. If you would like to rent the room privately, please contact our reception colleagues.
 
Fire protection regulations
 
SMOKING: Smoking is strictly prohibited in hotel rooms, corridors and restaurants! If the fire alarm system indicates a fire in the room, and it can be proven that it is caused by our Guest’s negligence (smoking, use of an open flame), then the entire cost of the Fire Department’s official procedure in force at the time shall be borne by the Guest! The designated smoking area is 5 metres from the restaurant entrance.
 
FIRE PROTECTION: In order to avoid fire accidents, the use of own electrical appliances (e.g. coffee maker, immersion kettle, iron) in the room is not allowed. Fire alarm equipment and powder extinguishers were placed in the building. The rooms have smoke detectors. In the event of a fire, our guests are warned by a siren. In such a case, please leave the building according to the escape route posted in the rooms. Please always turn off the electrical equipment when leaving the room.
 
FIRE PROTECTION RULES:
  • No easily flammable or explosive materials (e.g. LP gas cylinders) may be brought into the hotel area.
  • Traffic routes and exits must be left clear at all times.
  • The room and its equipment may only be used for their intended purpose.
  • It is FORBIDDEN to use electrical heat generating equipment in the room!
  • Smoking and open flames in the room are FORBIDDEN!
  • Before leaving the room – in any case – please ensure that there are no fire-causing phenomena left in the room (e.g. burning tobacco, switched on electrical appliances, etc.)
  • The floor plan of your living floor can be seen on the bedroom door, the red arrow shows the way to the emergency exit. In case of fire, please leave your room and the building in this direction!
