The residents of the municipality spent 2\u20133 days per person with social work in the construction of the drainage channels for the medicinal water.<\/p>\n

The interest in the thermal waters of B\u00fck crossed the borders of Vas county, and the first phase of the construction of the spa complex began on an area of about 58 hectares.<\/p>\n

After a successful trial run, the spa began its operation in the summer of 1962. The first pool attracted thousands of guests daily.<\/p>\n

A new railway station was built near the still young but rapidly developing spa complex that attracted more than expected traffic during the spa season.<\/p>\n

The water of the thermal well discovered in the municipality was found to be medicinal, and thus it was given the name \u201cmiracle medicinal water of B\u00fck.\u201d<\/p>\n

Due to the huge interest, the first hotel construction began, and the spa became \u201cfour-season.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Minister of Health approved the use of the designation \u201cmedical spa\u201d for the municipality of B\u00fckf\u00fcrd\u0151 in Vas county, and classified it as a medical spa of regional importance.<\/p>\n

As part of a gap-filling investment, the spa\u2019s restaurant consisting of two parts and having a cuisine of \u201cthousand portions\u201d was opened.<\/p>\n

On 23 August, the health resort of the Hungarian National Council of Trade Unions with a capacity of 300\u00a0people was officially inaugurated next to the spa complex.<\/p>\n

B\u00fckf\u00fcrd\u0151 was declared the 10th health resort in Hungary. This was a year of development, the 50-meter swimming pool was opened, and the extension of the parking lot began as well.<\/p>\n
